While looking for my long-missing Adam Lambert cd (I'm still convinced one of the boys hid the damn thing because I was so obsessed), I came across a cd labeled 'Beau's Party Tunes'. First of all, I shudder in embarrassment that I actually named it that. "Tunes"... seriously? And second, what would ever make me think some of these could be considered 'party' songs (one in particular, the Nine Inch Nails song, geezsh! Its def NSFW!!) And when I popped it into the cd player, I was prepared for all sorts of lame and idiotic songs to play.
But dang! If I don't have a damn good sense of music, eh?

LOVE THESE .. of course, you were wise NOT to post that damn Marilyn Manson LOL so I was able to listen to all the songs.
Some of these come from my generation (Joe Cocker, you can leave your hat on) so it was fun to hear different perspectives on the same song. Then some of the songs we both loved (we can dance).
Naturally, there's Blondie, in a class of her own. She stands alone. Loved watching her perform and did you notice the two toned hair color (black in back, blonde in front)?
Loved the SPIRIT IN THE SKY which is a classic no matter what generation.
Thanks. Great post. Loved watching the videos that went with the music!
Mom
You have just itemized every man I have ever pined for in my adolescence. The videos were interesting to watch-- forget Vamp Porn, I've got Eddie & Trent! Ha! Please make me a mix CD for my next birthday...you rock.
