I agree with Ambergurl. They are definitely enjoying their treat and believe it or not, their behavior compliments the cook ie., Gramma Alyce used to say "If kids don't get covered in their food, it probably wasn't good"
Christine's neighbor made those cupcakes for Sadie's bday party, in lieu of a cake. Chris said her neighbor is a total sweetheart, a real Martha Stewart-type, and she looks just like your typical sweet little old lady.
So, as we're leaving the party and heading to the vehicle, I happen to notice a little old lady leaving a house across the street and walking down the sidewalk. She was dressed kind of Amish-like, with a long dress on with frilly sleeves and a really long apron over top of the dress. So naturally, I said to her, "Oh, excuse me, but are you the neighbor who made those wonderful cupcakes? They were delicious!" And she looks at me like I'm a loon and says, "No, but now I wish I was that neighbor!" DOH! At least I didn't say something like 'Are you that sweet little old lady...'. Gah!
