Around this household its Oilers all the way, and Boo Flames. All the kids have some sort of Oilers shirt or jersey, mini sticks, posters, winter hats, etc. They always notice other Oilers fans when we're out and about, whether its cars with those little flags, or people wearing the fan gear. And you can tell they feel a fellow kinship with the person - giving little head nods as they pass by.
So today in Walmart, Milena noticed a guy wearing an Oilers jersey and hat. (Okay, I noticed him and pointed him out to Lena, butanyways...) It just so happened that she was wearing her Oilers jersey shirt (with a denim skirt and leopard-print boots, adorable!). So that was pretty cool, and as we walked by him I said, "Look, there's another Oilers fan!" (you know, to try to get his notice, so he would see her in her jersey)
Then I said, "Hey, how does it go again? 'Oilers rule and Flames...." (drool, right?) But what does Lena say?
"SUCK!"
I kind of chortled a bit, slightly mortified but it was a hilarious answer. "Uh, well I think its supposed to be 'drool' but that is what your dad and brothers say." LOL
